Dropping ball for two penalty strokes.

Clarification for members – the Model Local Rule E-5 [see wording below] NOT in play at Greenarces GC.

If members proceed to drop a ball under using this local rule they will be disqualified from the Club competition.

When a player’s ball has not been found or is known or virtually certain to be out of bounds, the player may proceed as follows rather than proceeding under stroke and distance.

For two penalty strokes, the player may take relief by dropping the original ball or another ball in this relief area (see Rule 14.3):

June 2021 Competitions

05th June – Charity Day
18 Hole Stableford Competition from the White Tees with competition fees being donated to the Captains chosen charity.
The overall winner will represent the club at the Golf Ireland Men’s Club Challenge at Dungannon Golf Club on the 24th August.

12 June – The Walker Cups
18 Hole Stroke Competition from the White Tees with the winner of each division winner one of the Walker Cups

19 June – PGA Tankard Qualifier
18 Hole Stableford Competition from the White Tees with the overall winner representing the club at the PGA Tankard finals.

26 June Davidson Cup and Club Championship Qualifier
18 Hole Stroke Competition from the White Tees with the scores counting towards the Davidson Cup and Club Championship
