George Baird’s Captains Day Arrangements

Competition Entry Fee: £5.00 *
Entry Fee to be dropped into the cabinet as normal. * see note about Saturday 14th June

Goodie Bag
These can be collected from the tent outside the Members Room prior to starting your round. You are asked to tick your name off on the sheet.

Food – Service will stop at 12:45
Breakfast Bap will be served from the tent outside the Members Room. Service will start around 7:30 and will stop at 12:45. Members who are due to complete their round after 12:30 must get their food prior to teeing off. You will be asked to tick your name off on the sheet.

Putting Contest
Collect a score card from beside the touch screen and return to the Saturday slot in the cabinet. The nine holes can be completed prior or after your round.

Time: 6:30 for 7:00pm

Main Prizes

Members must be an adult member and have six competition scores on their scoring record in 2025 to be able to compete for the following prizes:

3^rd in Division

Members cannot win two main prizes

Nearest the Pin

All Par 3’s will have a nearest the pin competition and all members are eligible to compete on each hole. Markers on the green with Tape Measures and Result sheet available greenside in a folder on each hole. Place the marker accordingly, then record the time, name and distance.

Longest Drive

There are Two Longest Drive competitions split by members Age. A Longest Drive marker will be present on each relevant hole and names are to be recorded either on the sheet in the marker or sticker on the actual marker.

The holes are:

Age 60 Plus – 7th Hole
For Everyone – 17th Hole

Nine Hole putting contest open to all members. Score cards can be collected at the touch screen.
