Sunday Competition – The Sunday Trophy
The Sunday Competition will run over three days from Sunday to Tuesday each week.
The Sunday Trophy will be played between 2nd April and 19th September. The winner will be the member with the best total points for 2/3 of the stableford weeks played. There is no additional entrance fee.
Rules
- Put the £5 entry fee into the relevant slot in the cabinet using the envelopes provided
- Sign into the competition online or via the touch screen.
- Play your round – WHITE TEES
- Ensure your card is signed by you and your marker
- Enter your scores in via the touch screen or on howdidido
- Put your card in the relevant slot
The 5 Day Members Trophy – Suspended for 2023 Season
The 5 Day Members Trophy will be played between 3rd April and Friday 20th September. The winner will be the 5 Day member with the best total points for 2/3 of the weeks played.

The Over 60’s Trophy
The Over 60’s Trophy will be played between between 5th April and Friday 22nd September. The winner will be the Over 60’s member with the best total points for 2/3 of the weeks played.

Winners of the Sunday Trophy, 60 Plus Trophy and the 5 Day Members Trophy will be invited to play in the Club Masters on Saturday 23rd September.
Midweek Competition
The Midweek Competition will run over three days from Wednesday to Friday each week.
Rules

- Sign into the competition online or via the touch screen.

- Enter your scores in via the touch screen or on howdidido

Over 60’s Pairs Greensomes [Played Twice Monthly] – Suspended for 2023 Season
The Over 60’s Pairs Greensomes will take place from March through to September. Members can play any two days during the month ( but not in the same week ) Monday to Friday. The Winners will be the pair with the lowest total score for Nine of the Twelve rounds played.
Rules
- Play 18 Holes Stroke
- Handicap – 1/2 combined handicap rounded up or down.
- On the Course and on the Greens
- Players take alternate drives at each hole i.e. one plays the odds and the other plays the evens.
- Players play alternate shots until the hole is completed.
- Return your completed score card clearly marked “Pairs Greensomes” to the 60 Plus slot
Over 60’s Monthly Summer Pairs Scramble – Suspended for 2023 Season
The Over 60’s Monthly Summer Scramble will take place from March through to September. Members can play any day during the month, Monday to Friday. The Winners will be the pair with the lowest total score for six rounds played.
Rules
- Play 18 Holes Stroke
- Handicap – 1/4 combined – Fractions are to be taken into consideration and not rounded up or or down.
- On the Course :-
- Each player drives.
- Select one drive which becomes the ball in play. The other picks up.
- The player whose ball is selected then plays his next stroke as the ball lies.
- His partner then places his ball within six inches, not nearer the hole, and plays his shot.
- This is repeated until the green is reached.
- On the Green
- One ball is selected and a marker placed one putter head from the chosen ball.
- The player whose ball is selected putts first.
- His partner places his ball on the same position and putts.
- Continuous putting is permitted to speed up play, but the lowest score at the hole will count.
- Each player must have his tee shot used at least six times in the round.
- Play your round and return your completed scorecard to the 60 Plus Slot
